Located just across from Central Park, LA PALESTRA is an ideal staging ground for runners of all levels, and running is a natural fit for many of our fitness programs. Our members frequently train for races of various lengths, from 5Ks to marathons, and our marathon programs-New York and Rome-are among our most popular annual events. These dedicated running programs include technique lessons (taught using the Pose Method, a running style that prevents injury), strength training, and group training runs with other members. Over 16 years of training members for the New York Marathon, we have achieved a 100% completion rate.
